Oder-Neisse Cycle Route
79 km (total 630 km)
Start: Schwedt/Oder, railroad station, finish: Löcknitz
Marking: Oder-Neisse cycle path logo
The seventh stage of the Brandenburg section of the Oder-Neisse cycle route, or day trip, leads from Schwedt/Oder to Löcknitz. This section always leads along the Oder dyke in the direction of Gartz (Oder). The Oder forms almost endless alluvial landscapes here. This area, which is protected as the Lower Oder Valley National Park, is one of the most beautiful floodplain landscapes in Europe. After Mescherin, the trail leaves the Oder and crosses the border into Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Note: Due to construction work, the section in Schwedt/Oder at StroamCamp will be closed from 12.02.24 to 31.03.24 and will be rerouted. The detour is signposted. >> View the detour to the Oder-Neisse cycle path here
