Camping at the Oberuckersee

The camping site at the Oberuckersee inspires not only by its direct location at the lake. The area of about 5 hectares offers space for individualists: on the camper height and beautifully terraced pitches you will find peace and relaxation. Old pines provide pleasant light shade. Numerous rare animals have found their refuge here in the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve.

It is a special concern of the campsite operators to cherish this nature and its diversity, especially in the area of the campsite. It is therefore only natural to manage the site in a sustainable manner. In detail this means among other things: Purchase of certified green electricity since 2006, pitches are not sealed, renovation of the sanitary building according to ecological and energy-efficient aspects. Hot water is provided and the heating is operated by means of a solar thermal system. The campsite is certified by Ecocamping.

By the way: You can get to Warnitz comfortably and climate-friendly by train!

Restaurants, a country market and tourist information with sale of regional products are located in the village. On regular dates bakery, butcher and vegetable carts from the region stop.

The campsite is sustainable because we

  • generate heat yourself through solar energy
  • illuminate the main paths with efficient solar lamps
  • Replant deciduous trees
  • Use an e-bike as a company vehicle
  • have limited the shower time to 3 min
  • Serve coffee only in cups or reusable cups that you bring with you
  • Obtain 100% green electricity
